Licensure exam preparation
These visual references are designed to help you slow down and identify the structure of first/next and best/most questions while you prepare for a social-work licensing exam.
These are study supports, not an answer key. Check current registration, eligibility, and content-outline information with the relevant licensing board and exam provider.

A quick way to practice
These acronyms are meant to give you a pause point while working through practice questions. They can help you notice what the question is asking before you move to the answer choices.
Read the task words first.
Notice whether the item asks for first, next, best, or most. That word changes how you weigh the answer choices.
Name the immediate priority.
Look for safety, a medical concern, the client’s current experience, assessment needs, informed consent, or self-determination.
Use the acronym to test your choices.
Ask whether an option skips an earlier step or misses information in the question stem. Cross out choices that do not fit the order of the situation.
Review the rationale after you answer.
Use missed questions to see what you overlooked, then return to the official content outline or a trusted study resource for that topic.
These are study mnemonics, not universal clinical or legal rules. Follow the facts and wording of each practice question, and rely on current official exam information for your exam.
